We brought Ashley to prof tan today for chicken pox vaccination, as well as routine assessment. Ashley is such a brave little gal, juz cried for awhile onli when prof tan administered the injection. Prof Tan said this vaccination is onli injected under the skin, so will inject on the right arm. All previous injections were done on the thigh as the injections had to go into the muscle. Next month, we'll need to go back for MMR vaccination.
Routine assessment was ok. Weight: 9.83kg , Height: 75.4cm , Head Circumference: 46.5cm. Everything is fine, n prof tan told us that Ashley's fontanelle is closed ( yay!!! :-> ).
This time round, prof tan remembered to update in Ashley's health booklet (last time during the 10-mth assessment, he forgot)... but the funny thing is there is no 12-mths assessment page, so he updated it in the 6-10mths assessment page. Anyway, it doesn't matter. I m happy as long as he remember to update it.
I was actually abit worried whether Ashley is drinking enough milkmilk, around 600ml per day over 3 feedings. Prof Tan reassured me that it's fine.
But I need to monitor Ashley's poo-poo. Prof Tan said if it gets any harder ( now, it's pellet-like, jelly-bean hardness ), i may have to give Ashley some med (dunno wat)... I will monitor n check with Prof Tan next month.
After that, we went to Pepper Lunch for lunch... Ashley was sitting in the highchair n turning her head here n there to look at the people n going-ons around her. She's so curious... And Alan and I are a pair of proud parents when we overheard the staff there saying that Ashley is very cute...
I got Su to give Ashley her milkmilk, after we finished eating. Then, proceeded to Taka to get my loose powder. Seems like the whole island is out of stock for Chanel loose powder no. 30 natural (asked 2 outlets, both same answer). Well, I can't wait anymore, so chose to try Estee Lauder... let's find out whether Chanel or Estee Lauder is better.
Ashley is so tired (guess it's largely due to the vaccination) that she fell asleep in Alan's arms. That's my signal to go home, but before that, I still insisted to go Paragon 5th level where there's a stall selling books, bought a storybook about princesses for Ashley. I want to start reading to her soon.
Last stop, Marks & Spencer to get my supply of potato chips. I still find Marks & Spencer's chips better than those sold in supermarkets...
Ok, go home go home....
