Ashley is 1!!!

Yay!!! finally, Ashley is 1!!! We had a small birthday party for Ashley on sat. i invited a few frens over, juz to keep it small and manageable (well, the function room is rather small, anyway). Rita was the earliest, at 7.15pm, even tho my party supposed to start at 6pm. anyway, the important thing is we all had a great time.
Rita and Steve came, with their 2 gals - Christabelle n Celestine. wow, Christabelle is so pretty n celestine is so sociable. she seems to like me, followed me around n tugged at my blouse to get my attention :-) Angela n her hubby came with Ryan, their handsome little son... dunno why, my ashley didn't sayang Ryan, like she did with Hsien Zheng...
Hua Lee n his wife came with Hsien Zheng, their adorable little boy, who's juz 4 days' older than my ashley. Same as wat happened last week, ashley will sayang hsien zheng... ooo... so sweet, my ashley's 1st love???
I was pleasantly surprised when Welch brought Shannon along, together with Patrick n Rachel. Always amazed at how fast newborn babes grow. Rachel is getting prettier too, but very shy bcos she juz smiles at me innocently whenever i tok to her...
Lijun n Yung Chih were the last to arrive, together with Cherylin. Cherylin still has the little pimple on her cheek, wonder why, insect bite??? Cherylin is very lovable... apparently, she hurt her little finger n wanted a plaster. But when this smart lil cookie saw tt my plaster was not those small ones, wif cute design, she immediately shake her head n said she didn't want the plaster anymore.
We sang birthday song to Ashley, she was very happy and even grinned at me. Guess the little tyke knew she's the party princess of the day. The birthday cake i ordered was from The Patissier, design is barnyard house. The cake was too pretty to eat, everyone likes it, especially the sugar dolls of little animals. We gave them to the kids. Celestine was solid, even tho the sugar doll was very sweet, she liked it and ate the whole piece... :-)
The cake was very nice and we managed to finish the whole 2kg... yum yum...
The party ended around 9.15pm. The guests left, except Welch and Lijun and their families. They went to my place and we continued to chat till about 10.30pm. By then, it was time to say bye-bye... everyone had fun n it was time to go home... zzz......
