5th day in HK (12 Feb)

Today is the last day in HK. We are flying back to SIN later this evening.Morning routine as usual.

Upon Alan's suggestion, we headed to Wong Tai Xin temple. Alan said there's a shopping centre beside the temple n we can hv vegetarian lunch there. Wow! Didn't expect so many people queuing up for lunch at a vegetarian restaurant. We scoured the whole shopping centre n found that there were queues for almost all restaurants. The 1 restaurant with no queue was Beppu. But I didn't want to go there bcos it seems like gg to Beppu in Singapore. Wat's the point?

In the end, we decided to join in the queue at the vegetarian restaurant Alan recommended. Took around 20mins, n we were given seats ( note: not table! We had to share a big 10-seater table with 2 other small groups of people.
Throughout this time, dear dear was snoozing happily. I carried her in my lap while eating my lunch. Really quite good! Liked the "chicken", dip was tasty too... yum yum...

While i was almost finished, deardear woke up (good timing! dear). I gave deardear her porridge. She saw the beehoon n asked for tt too. In the end, we also gave her some beehoon.

After lunch, it was almost 2pm. Time to head back to hotel. We have a airport shuttle bus to catch.

We almost the shuttle bus bcos juz 10 mins before the stipulated time, deardear pooed-pooed. So, i hurriedly went to the ladies to change for her. And i also went for a toilet break. Luckily, the driver n passengers ( a family ) didn't make noise.

We reached HK Int'l Airport at around 4.30pm. Check-in was super fast n at immigration, the customs officer let us go through at a special counter bcos they saw me carrying deardear.

We shopped around a bit, bought some tidbits from Aji Ichiban and Weng Wah. I bought a pkt of bai foong pills from Eu Yan Sang. And also, my big splurge - a SF bag which costs me $1.9k... :-p

The flight back was ok too. Deardear make some fuss during the times when i had to strap her to me. Also, she was very inquisitive, kept leaning out of her bassinet to take our stuff - such as the headphones, menu card, etc. She also wanted to eat our dinner, which we did give her abit.

We reached home at around 10.45pm. After giving deardear a body wipe n settling her to sleep, Alan and I went to do some unpacking n cleaning up. As Alan need to work the next day, he slept at arnd 12pm. I ate a pkt of instant noodles so couldn't sleep so early, went to bed only at around 1.30pm.
