What a wonderful day out...

I've been looking forward to this day. It's THE day when my mil needs the maid to do some cleaning up, n we are MAID-FREE for the day. It's so liberating, just our family of three...

I've already decided the activities for today. We are heading to Vivocity...

1st stop: Crystal Jade. It's been a long time since Alan n i had nice dim sum together. Blur sotong me! Thought still can use $20 voucher, alamak! it expired on 22 Jan...
Nevertheless, nothing is spoiling my good mood... we ordered the usual fare n savoured every bite... Ashley oso had her 1st taste of dim sum. Alan gave her carrot cake and char siew pau. Deardear seems to prefer carrot cake. (Off topic: hmmm... i observed a rather peculiar thing. Deardear seems to prefer Alan when it comes to giving her food. Sometimes when we r at home, n both Alan n I r eating the same thing, deardear will go to her daddi n indicate she wants a bite. But i don't mind it, rather happy to see deardear lean on Alan.)

After lunch, the bill took quite some time n still hvn't arrived yet. Deardear was getting restless so i took deardear out while Alan waited for the bill. Outside, i let deardear toddle on her own as the pathway was vv big n there were not many pple around.

Saw on 2 occasions, passersby stop n look at deardear. Could see them comment tt deardear is very pretty... I was so happy n proud... *_*

2nd stop: Junior League at TRU
Remember the 1st time we went to Junior League. It was the branch at Parkway Parade. During that time, deardear was very cooperative n let the hairstylist cut her hair. Was such a nice n peaceful experience. However, this time round, even b4 i placed deardear on the seat, I could feels her tense up. I knew then that she's going to make a fuss. True enough, deardear made a big fuss, she cried so loud that passersby at TRU stop to stare. Nothing we did, even Barney n giving her a balloon helped. Guess my deardear just didn't wan a haircut on tt day!

Ok, I've done wat i set out to do - lunch at CJ and haircut for deardear...

Hmmm... onli 3pm+, let's shop! Went to Colettee, hoping to find a nice pair of shoes for deardear. Sadly, no size. Next, went to Pumpkin Patch. Woah! New season stuff, i can't resis buying a few.

Oh yes, went to Tangs too n bought a portable cooker (finally, used the Tangs voucher from Lijun. It's been more than 1 year, just always forgot to bring the voucher whenever I go to Tngs.) Need to bring this along when i go HKG next week.

Busy busy day... but so nice... without the maid... HAHAHA!
