Lunch at Surf n Turf

We brought deardear to Suntec bcos we wanted to get a kettle from Carrefour. Had a late lunch there as well. Actually, wanted to go Olio, but it was closed for reno, so we went to Surf n Turf instead. Alan had the Hickory Smoked chicken while i order the chef's recommendation of Mushroom Burger. Rating : 2.5/5. The chicken was rather dry n beef patty of the burger was too saltish. The big piece of mushroom was nice tho, n deardear likes the toasted bread. We didn't give her the fries. For dessert, we had the apple pie wif vanilla ice-cream. Apply tasted funni to deardear, i guess, bcos she spit it out n refused a 2nd bite. Her 1st taste of ice-cream was a scrunched-up face, bcos i think she's not prepared for the cold taste. Subsequently, she did eat the tiny tiny spoonfuls i offered her, but didn't ask for more... i should hv taken pics of her then, but as usual, i forgot..

Anyway, i m glad she was quite patient wif us throughout the lunch, which lasted in total abt 35mins. We had a booth seat n she was quite happy to walk abt on the seat (barefooted, of cos).
