23mths' milestones!

Oooh… I was pleasantly surprised when I saw deardear sitting on the floor trying to wear her pants. She was able to wear both pant legs, juz tt she doesn't yet know how to stand up and pull-up her pants.

Just yesterday, I was talking to Alan “为什么你跟Baby穿衣服没有button后面？
Even b4 Alan reacted, I saw deardear who was sitting on the floor in front of us, stretched out her hand n reached behind where the button is. My deardear is listening and she understands!

The easiest way to get deardear to pick up her toys n put it back where it belongs is to tell her “once u finish, we’ll go gai-gai” and the amazing thing is she even knows which goes where.

Lately, deardear has learnt a new trick. To get my attention, she will come up to me, put both her hands on the side of my face n tilt it to her direction such tt I m looking at her in the eye. And whenever I stray away, she will repeat this action. ( which is y I hv so many pimples on my face now… :-p )

She is able to recognize pple from photos, including Alan, myself, ah-yi n herself.

Nowadays, whenever her diaper is too full for her comfort or she has pooed-pooed, she will either keep clutching her diaper or she will take a new diaper n bring it to you. These r her ways of telling us she wants a change of diaper.

She’s such a dear, she even packs in a new pkt of tissue for me every day…


Motor skills
Deardear is starting to climb the dining chairs (haiz… gotta keep telling her not to, in case she falls.)

Her steering skills have also improved a lot. Sometimes, I hv to siam her just to avoid being mowed down by her toy car.
