Finally, after months of buying the swimsuit n accessories, we finally brought deardear down for a swim last Sunday afternoon. Initially, she was abit surprised/shocked/confused to see us wearing swimming costumes, but she soon got over it. I even got her to pose for me.
When we first got to to pool, she was very nervous and didn't want to get in and started bawling when we placed her in the float and sat it by the edge of the water. Her legs was in the water. We started splashing some water to her and Alan waddled further away from the pool, at the same time, encouraging her to join in... After a while, deardear started to relax and laugh and let us lead her out. As she grew more comfortable in the pool, she even started to direct us where she want to go... :-)
We didn't spend alot of time, abt 30mins only bcos dark clouds seem to be gathering n i could see deardear shivering at times (didn't want her to catch a cold!)
