Take control of the situation

I firmly believe that parents must be able to control our kids, n not the other way round. I don't buy the idea that accommodating every whim n fancy of our kids means we love them. And sometimes, i pity those parents who let their kids "climb over their head". I have even witnessed some kids beat their parents in shopping malls.

Deardear has started shouting at me and Alan in her baby language when she don't get her way. And once she hit me when she didn't get her way (this happened once, afterwhich i gave her such a stern lecture, she had not repeated it YET. Let's c.. ).

Whenever she does all these, i always lecture her very sternly. I don't believe in caning or beating, as these didn't work for me when i was young). I give warnings, lectures and make deardear stand in a naughty corner when she throw tantrums. No way am i going to allow such disrespect from my child.
