After our nice dinner, we were doing some leisurely window shopping to walk off some extra calories we imbibed earlier.
There was a promotion in the optical shop n since Alan's spectacles are overdue for a change, we headed inside to check out the promotion. The optical shop very big n there was ample space for Ashley to run abt. As long as she didn't touch was she wasn't supposed to, didn't make a ruckus n didn't disturb others, i just let her be. hehe... i even played a couple rounds of hide-n-seek wif her. And one time, when she was running to catch up with Alan, she fell, all fours on the ground. I was behind her, but not near enough to catch hold of her. There was a kind sales guy who ran fwd to help Ashley. Ashley didn't cry, think she was shocked, rather than in pain. The floor was ceramic or tiles, so seeing how she fell, i don't think it hurt alot. Rather than baby-ing her, i just watched from behind. Sure enough, she just picked herself up n continued running towards her daddy.
Later, i did check out her kneecaps n palms to check for bruises or internal injuries. Seems everything is A-ok...
Toddlers learn from falling n picking themselves up... It's a very important lesson for them.
