Mommi: Ashley, where is Daddi?
Ashley: Daddi take airplane.
Mommi: Daddi take airplane, go where?
Ashley: ??? (unsure, looks at me hesitantly)
Mommi: Daddi go Italy. Deardear, say I-ta-ly
Ashley: EEE-te-ly

After a while,

Mommi: Ashley, where is Daddi?
Ashley: Daddi take airplane.
Mommi: Daddi take airplane, go where?
Ashley: (unsure..... then gives up) Go Ma-Ma's place* (then smiles cheekily bcos she knows it's not the "right" answer)

* Ma-Ma's place is my mil's house which we will tell Ashley when we bring her to mil's house every morning.
