I'd hoped for no rain, and yes i had my wish! But turns out, it was really sunny n hot! (I m difficult to please, aren't I?). We reached there abt 10am, n lucky there was that 1 last parking lot for us. Phew! The garden is not big actually. It has lots of different areas which teaches children abt nature. Example, one section is abt photosynthesis, another one abt growing vegetables such as brinjal n radish (yep! i saw them while they r still hanging from the branch or half buried underground).
Ashley is still too young to appreciate the garden n all it's "teachings". And once she stepped on the soil area, she didn't like it. I think it's bcos of the unstable feeling due to the soft soil. We egged her on to chase after a mynah which was hopping along the concrete path. And Ashley did, until the mynah went to soil area, which Ashley staunchly refused to chase after the bird then. Bird's brain is not tt small, after all! Clever little bird!
We walked thru the garden and left after 45mins.. It was abt 11am then, n by then, all 3 of us were soaked in sweat. I honestly think that Ashley didn't really enjoy the garden walk, but to my surprise, when we were abt to leave, I asked her this qn : "Do you like this place? Do you wan to come again?" Ashley said : "Yes." and nods her head. :-)
