More than meets the eyes!

Last nite, i was sitting at the dining table hving my dinner. Ashley came up to me, holding Alan's spectacles case.

Ashley said: "Daddi, eyes" (action : blinks her eyes)
Mommi (tt's me) said: "huh? wat, darling? wat eyes?"
Ashley repeated: "Daddi, eyes" (action : blinks her eyes, plonks down the spectacles case on the table)
Mommi ( lightbulb lights up! ding-ding! ) said: "Oh, daddi eyes"
Ashley, satisfied that i've understood her, smiles n walk away.

Finally, i grasped her meaning. My darling has learnt to associate the "spectacles case -> spectacles -> daddi eyes". Nothing escapes her eyes, she must have seen Alan putting in or taking out his specs from the case.
