Good deals!

Yep, this sale-hungry momma managed to grab some good bargains at Gap n Aldo last Saturday.

Gap sale : 30% off on regular-priced items (except those tt are stated nett). On top of this disc, there will be additional 20% off for 5 or more items. Needless to say, i grabbed 5 items (3 for Ashley n 2 for myself). Wanted to get a business shirt for Alan, but too bad the fit was not rite. All in all, my bill came up to $177.50, savings of $139.50.

I was in Gap for some time bcos of trying out the clothes, can't decide which colour to buy... And while waiting for me, Ashley had a fun time amusing herself, sitting n playing on the kiddy chairs, sitting on the platforms, playing abit of hide-n-seek wif Alan. Of cos, there was no disturbance to others as the shop area was big, so ample space for all shoppers to roam around.

Aldo sale : this was a surprise good buy for me. Saw the sale sign n went in, not thinking i'll get any. But there's this pair of black flats tt looks nice, n super comfortable. And it was on 50% + 10% (UOB credit card). So, i paid $67.50 for a nice pair of Aldo shoes. And just in time too, as my current pair of flats is abt to give way.

Afterthoughts: i had been toying with the idea of doing online shopping at GAP.com. Now, i m wondering whether it will be cheaper to just wait for such sales n buy locally. Hmmm... maybe when i've tried it out, i'll blog about it here.
