Wat m i toking abt? Clothes sizing, that's wat!
Who knows the right answer to this qn - wat does 0R and 0P represent?
I've been baffled for a couple of yrs since the 1st incident when i came across these 2 sizing for a pair of pants. Apparently, the sales staff at a few particular high-fashion houses in Orchard Road shd be flogged for not knowing their basics. They could only tell me "0P is smaller than 0R". Huh! I also know that by comparing them together. But wat does it represent?
Finally, finally, the sales staff at BR shed the light. Bravo! R for Regular and P for Petite.
Haiyah... i shd hv made the connection myself when i browse-shop online at US stores.
Now, i've finally found a really justified reason to shop online. I need Petite size clothes, and most US-brand fashion houses only bring in Regular size clothes, not Petite. And even if they do, it's few and far between. And this is especially true for pants/jeans whereby i always need to alter 1-2 inches off. Everyone who knows clothes knows that the cutting and look of the garment will be distorted when we do alteration. It's just tt most pple don't scrutinise others' dressing as much as i do. haha!
Am i giving myself another reason to shop online? You betcha!
P/S: I love the way i look when i wear my new pair of jeans.
PP/S: Alan, don't sigh... like what i told u last nite, it really can be cheaper (even after including shipping and taxes) when one knows how to shop online for clothes on sale. My new jeans is $30 cheaper than if i'd bgt locally (and i'd still hv to send in for alteration). Best of all, u dun nid to go shopping wif me. :-)
