Happy birthday to u, happy birthday to u, happy birthday to mommi! Happy birthday to u!

That was one of the blissful moments in my life so far - waking up to the tune of my darling singing happy birthday song to me, followed by a smacking loud wet kiss on my cheeks. Ashley was also super happy that day, bcos I told her the day b4 that mommi n daddi r not working tomorrow, and can play-play wif her.
It was my day, so the day's schedule was decided by me.
Breakfast at Chin Mee Chin. Yummy toasted bread, soft-boiled eggs and the most authentic kopi-c, thick n fragrant, just as i like it. I saw him there. He really looks good for a person in his 40s.
Next stop, we brought Ashley to ECP for some cycling. She loves to cycle and since this is a weekday, it's the best time to bring her there. She can cycle to her heart's content. Making her happy makes me happy too.
Lunch at C-Nai cafe nearby. Just a simple lunch because Ashley was tired and we wanted to get her home so that she can take her nap. The menue has quite a wide variety of selections and price is reasonable too. We should be going back there some other time.
Dinner was steamboat at Tian Fu. It was my first time there, having read the good review, decided to give it a try. It didn't disappoint at all. The satay soup base was special and not too thick. It wasn't spicy either, so Alan can indulge in it. The fish soup base, though slightly saltish, was full of flavour, and we didn't feel thirsty after that, so it shouldn't be laden with msg. When foodcourts are charging $6 for a bowl of fishball mee, I'd think this steamboat restaurant is giving value for $$. I'd choose Tian Fu over Coca and Chonqing hotpot anytime.

Hey, i went to that steamboat restaurant too (organised by my tour mate who said the steamboat is good). famous for its satay gravy base i suppose. the fried rice is very nice. like what the reviewer said, got 'wok hei'.
For a moment, I thought you saw your ex-bf when you mentioned "him"....haha! Oops, aren't Alan your 1st?
I've not seen Ashley for sometime. Look how much she has grown - taller and prettier! She's mama's big girl now. It's time to have your 2nd Jemy/Alan junior.
