16mths' milestones...

Milestones time!!!

- Ok, there's this 1 thing tt i m very proud of deardear. Last Sunday, she took the calendar from the shelf to play. I told her not to play with the calendar and to put it back. After a few times of repeating it, deardear put it back. Noo... she listening to my instruction is not wat amazes me. What amazes me is that she knows how to adjust the bottom folds of the calendar to make it stand! Imagine, a 16-mth old baby being able to know this, n having the motor skills to adjust it so that it can stand.

- Can pronounce daddi perfectly. But still says "mi-mi" when i tell her to call mommi. But it's ok wif me, as long as she call me, i'm in 7th heaven

- Knows where n how to take diaper. When i tell her that i need to change her diaper and ask her to get 1 diaper for mommi, she will make a beeline for the diaper bag, take out 1 diaper, toddle over to me, n pass it to me.

- Knows how to stack up the alphabet blocks

- Repeat A-E

- When u show her the following pics, she can tell u this:

Apple : ple-ple
Fish : fis-fis
Bear : bear-bear
Milk : maalt-maalt

- recognises bread, will tell u bad-bad ( a.k.a bread )

- when i say "mommi go work-work", deardear will repeat after me "werk-werk"

- knows to shake her head NO, when she don't wan something

- pass u the remote control n walks to the cabinet where barney vcds are kept, nod her head to u ( this indicates she wants u to help her switch on tv n play barney vcd for her)

- deardear's been babbling alot lately. It's so funni to hear her babble. Sometimes, we'll babble along with her. Sometimes, we will use our own language to converse wif her.
