Been reading from forums/internet about this harmful chemical called Bisphenol-A that will leach from plastics made from polycarbonate.
As the debate is still ongoing whether the amount of Bisphenol-A leached from baby milk bottles is really harmful to babies; FDA and even our own AVA has not banned this chemical or products made from polycarbonate, so the choice is still our own. We make our own judgement call to still continue using products made from polycarbonate ( a.k.a. since government has not banned it, it should still be safe to use) or to switch to BPA-free products.
As for me, I prefer to switch my deardear’s milk bottles to BPA-free types. My rationale is since there is a safer alternative for me, why not? But I am still realistic, I don’t think in our current world, we will ever be free of BPA exposure. We can only do our best to
minimize it.
