New Year's eve...

Tdy's CNY eve. Poor me, still gotta work. The European company i work for is so ngeow, not even official half-day for CNY eve. It's an official full-day workday for me. Another ngeow thing is not even 2 mandarin oranges for employees. The company Alan works for (oso an European company) still gave out $100 ang-pow for every employee.

Drove out to suntec for lunch cos the canteens near ofc are closed for CNY oredi. Needed to go carrefour too to get a wok.

Came back around 1.45pm. Saw that the whole ofc was empty, thot my boss declared half-day. Turns out i saw onli my boss left in ofc. Boss told me the other pple "self-declared" half-day (not allowed, n if big boss knows, will surely jump thru the roof). He told me can go off onli at 3pm. Fine wif me cos i need to finish some work b4 going for CNY break...

Left promptly at 3pm, went to mil place to fetch Alan and deardear. We went to Li Bai to collect the pen cai n yu sheng i ordered.

Reached home at around 5pm. Mil told us bil n his family will be driving in to M'sia. She'll call us once they leave n we'll go over there for reunion dinner. ( IMO, i dun c y we hv to be so secretive abt this. It's their choice not to hv dinner at home, so y shd we need to "avoid" them?)

Waited till 8pm, then mil told us to go over. We were both hungry by then, oredi cooked a pkt of instant noodles at 7pm to fill our stomachs abit.

The pen cai n yu sheng was not bad. Pen cai had those mini abalones, prawns, scallop, clams, mushrooms, etc. i had 3 abalones.

Deardear was such a sweetie, she sat on the sofa obediently n watched Barney throughout the time we had our dnr.
