Backtrekking...

Hiya all! Been waiting anxiously for my postings???

Backtracking to 5 Feb:

Hah! It's a day i've been looking fwd to. Took half-day PM leave to send my maid off to SA maid agency, who'll take care of her while i'm away. The lady at SA maid agency was nice enough to charge me $10/day n excludes the 2 days tt i drop off n pick up my maid. Total $70 gone. Turns out, this maid of mine is juz concerned abt her pay. Mil told me my maid asked her whether she will not be getting any pay for the days she's at the agency... Well, since she's so money-faced, i hope she doesn't lose her $$. Think if it happens, she'll go crazy (will hv to pack her back to indo asap, if it happens!). Even now, juz thinking of the poor 2-mth baby who was abused by the crazy maid sends my goosepimples up. Luckily, Alan is juz as, if not more, vigilant against the maid.

It was such a nice feeling to leave my maid at the agency. It's like i've been relieved of a burden, could juz feel the lightness in my footsteps.

Oh yes! I went to do some last minute shopping for deardear too. Bought her a suede trenchcoat, cost me $59 (this turns out to be a lousy decision, read on to find out).
