Hooray! 20mths’ milestones time…
Let’s c.
Motor skills
Deardear can jump! I can see that she’s vv happy wif this achievement. She has been trying to jump for a couple of months oredi, but always has no confidence to lift her leg up from the ground, until now. Poor me now! Almost every other nite, she’ll remember her happy song n wants me to sing the song to her, together with actions… But I don’t mind, bcos the song makes her very happy n giggle, n she’ll always beam at me when I sing this song. It’s enough to see her smile.
Language skills
Deardear now can recite “我爱你” on her own, without my prompting of word after word. She knows some alphabets now, like when I say A, she’ll say B, C, D,E… but not the whole 26 alphabets yet. Still I know this is an accomplishment for deardear. As for numbers, she can recite 1-10 (except 3) after us. She also knows the sequence for some, like for example, if I say 4, she’ll say 5,6. But for some reason (maybe it’s the pronounciation), she refuses to say 3, which annoys the hell out of Alan. I always tell him, deardear will surprise u one day and blurt out the word 3, when u least expect it.
New mutterings:
I juz realized tt the word “dang-ki” tt deardear has been uttering these past months is thank-you.
New words:
Papaya – deardear loves the fruit too
起来 – she commands me during the weekend mornings, when I laze in bed n dun wan to get up.
See U - depending on deardear's mood, sometimes when we say bye-bye to her, she will reply back wif "bye-bye, see u". hv to credit tis to Alan, who taught her tt.
(P/S: We are lazy pple. We don’t conscientiously read or introduce new words to our deardear. It’s all about spontaneity.)
