Long weekend i had...

1st trip to ECP with Ashley
We went to East Coast Park for breakfast at Mac. Deardear is so sharp in spotting balloons. Whenever she sees them, she will point to it and exclaim “B-oon, b-oon”. Anyway, she saw some kids playing with balloons, but too bad, this mommi here didn’t see anyone giving out balloons, so couldn't get it for her.

After breakfast, we took a short stroll along the pathway, where we showed deardear the sea, ships, sand, birds, leaves, dogs, bicycles… and we discovered tt deardear is scared of leaves. I was holding her hand while walking and she juz froze and shouted for “bao-bao” while sticking her hands out. We tried to show her that it’s ok to step on the leaves and I even hold up a dead leave for her to see, but she juz dun wan and was about to cry.
Hmmm… I wonder if it’s bcos of the little picture book that my sil bought which showed a piece of leave wif an ugly-looking bug on it.

We went to T3 for dinner at Crystal Jade Shanghai Restaurant. I was quite happy that deardear managed to finish a 1/3 small bowl of rice with spinach (washed with water to clear the gravy), shredded chicken meat from the soup we had, stir-fried egg white. Another small step towards letting her eat outside food.
