New job = fresh beginning

Things are finally looking up for me... with a sliver of shining light...

Everyone around me knows my work was drowning me.  I've said I wanna look for another job and I've FOUND it!!!  True, I don't know if it will be better or worse, but at least the $$$ is better. Heh!

It's ironical though, when the bosses at my current employer knows of my intention to leave, they offered me lots of goodies - promotion, role change, pay rise, to persuade me to stay.  But earlier when I had asked for a day off to compensate for the late nites/weekends I'd been putting in, I was rejected flatly.

Though I was flattered, I rejected the offer.  It's just not the place for me.
